Richard C. Levy, Author of Complete Idiot’s Guide to Cashing In on Your Inventions

 

Richard C. Levy is a marketing wiz with a flair for innovation, and a keen sense and timing for product and pop culture. He is president of Richard C. Levy & Associates, a product development and licensing company. In the past 35 years RCL&A has licensed over 125 concepts, including Furby, which has sold to date 60 million units. Licensees range from Hasbro and Mattel to General Foods and Proctor & Gamble. He has authored 12 books, including the critically-acclaimed Complete Idiot’s Guide to Cashing In on Your Inventions.

The first game he invented, Adverteasing (Cadaco), sold over 1 million copies. Among his other best-selling games are: Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus (Mattel); and Chicken Soup for the Soul (Cardinal).
